Boles Natatorium

Boles Natatorium, located on College Street is used by the Centre men's and women's swimming and diving teams. Featuring a seventy-five foot long pool with six lanes and two diving boards, the Natatorium is open to students, staff, and fitness center members for free swimming, lap swimming and diving.

Boles Natatorium was built in 1968, and renovated in 2004 with a new pump, new boiler, updated locker rooms, and a new tiled entrance.

The natatorium is named for Mr. and Mrs. Ewing T. Boles, Class of 1916. Boles, a native of Williamstown, Ky., was president, CEO, and chair of the board of The Ohio Co., one of the nation's first capital investment firms. He also served as chair of the Centre board of trustees (1964-69).

The pool was dedicated in honor of Craig W. Johnson, Class of 1975, during Homecoming October, 23, 2004.
