Three Centre Juniors Named to 2016 Kentucky All-Commonwealth Team

KENTUCKY PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME ALL-COMMONWEALTH TEAM PRESS RELEASE

LEXINGTON, Ky. (CentreColonels.com) - Earlier this week the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame released its All-Commonwealth Team for the 2016 season and three rising seniors on the Centre football team were named to the preseason squad.

Ben Bostick (Liberty Township, Ohio) was named to the All-Commonwealth Team after a breakthrough junior campaign that saw him earn Second Team All-Southern Athletic Association honors at defensive end. Bostick ranked second among 2016 Centre defensive returnees in tackles for a loss with 7.5 in 2015 to go along with 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble.

Nolan Coulter (Knoxville, Tenn.) earned All-Commonwealth Team honors after being named to the All-SAA squad for a second consecutive year. Coulter rushed for 998 yards with a 5.2 yard average per carry to go along with nine touchdowns as Centre's top rusher in 2015. Coulter was named a Second Team All-SAA selection as junior after a First Team All-SAA campaign in 2014.

Tre Killian (Franklin, Tenn.) is the final Centre representative on the All-Commonwealth Team after being voted by SAA coaches as the top center in the conference for the second season in a row. Killian was a key piece of an offensive line that helped the Colonels rack up 4,991 yards of total offense in 2015 and 4,841 yards of total offense in 2014.

The Centre football 2016 season opener will be on Sept. 3 as the Colonels host Hanover at Farris Stadium.
