Bruce Brown joined the Centre College coaching staff in 2000 and has been the Director of Golf since 2011. He helped lead the Centre women's golf team to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2009 and 2010 as an assistant coach. In 2011-12, his first season as director of golf, Brown guided the Colonels to a Golfstat ranking as high as #2 in Division III and a fourth place finish at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships. In addition, Brown was also named the Great Lakes Region Coach of the year as well as the SCAC Coach of the Year for the 2011-12 campaign. Brown was named 2012-13 Women's Golf Coach of the Year by the Southern Athletic Assocation.

Bruce has been a PGA golf professional since 1987, was named the 2004 PGA Teacher of the Year and is ranked as one of the top professionals in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan.
