    Centre College freshman Allison Chumbley has been selected as Centre's female representative on the 2011-12 SCAC Swimming and Diving All-Sportsmanship Team.

    Centre College freshman swimmer Nate Deaton has been named to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship Team for the 2011-12 season.
  • Swimming season ends at NCAA Championships

    The Centre swim team's season came to a close this past week at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis, Ind. The Colonels took four swimmers to the championship meet and all of them walked away with at least one All-American honor.
  • Maggard, Weber headline Centre swimmers invited to NCAAs

    The NCAA released its list of teams and individuals that are invited to participate in the Division III Championships on March 21-24. Centre's Colleen Maggard and Clark Weber were each selected to compete in three events as individuals, and the Colonels were invited to compete in four relay events.

    The Centre Women's swim team has been selected as a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
  • Women finish 2nd, men 4th at SCAC Championships

    The Centre swim teams had their final team meet of the year at the 2012 SCAC Championships in Rockwall, Texas. The meet lasted four days and when the dust had settled, Centre had earned a second place finish on the women’s side and a fourth place finish on the men’s.

    It was Senior Night at Boles Natatorium as the Centre swim teams competed in their last regular season meet of the year against Asbury and Lindsey Wilson. The men went 1-1 while the women went 2-0.

    The Centre swim teams competed at Sewanee's senior night dual meet against the host Tigers as well as Union College. The men's team split the contest while the women's team picked up two wins.

    The Centre swim teams competed in their first of two meets on Saturday as they hosted Wittenberg. The men swam to a 111.5-111.5 tie, while the women lost a close one, 114-104.

    The Centre men’s and women’s swim teams did not have long to recover from last night’s meet against Rhodes, but they swam well enough to pick up a pair of wins against Campbellsville and Franklin. The teams combined to beat Campbellsville 223-18 and Franklin 198-91.
