Centre Swimming and Diving Teams Compete on Day Two of House of Champions Meet

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (CentreAthletics.com) – The Centre swimming and diving teams returned to action on day two of three at the House of Champions meet in Indianapolis, Ind. on Saturday. The event is hosted by Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis at the IUPUI Natatorium.

After the second day of competition, the Colonel men and women both sit in ninth place. Centre is the only NCAA Division III team in the field.

On Saturday, senior Kristen Holliday (Newark, Del.) posted a fourth place finish with an NCAA "B" Cut standard time of 4:35.09 in the 400 IM.

Sophomore Noah Martin (Spartanburg, S.C.) finished with a time of 51.12 in the 100 Fly, good for ninth place in the event.

Senior John Coogan (Nashville, Tenn.) posted a mark of 1:53.24 in the 200 freestyle, while Bradley Baker (Paducah, Ky.) finished the 400 IM in 4:23.68.

Senior Dana Reynolds (Bowling Green, Ky.) added a time of 4:50.17 in the 400 IM, as well.

Sophomore diver Sarah Hayhurst (Newburgh, Ind.) posted scores of 15.00 and 14.10 in the 3M and 1M dives, respectively.
