    SHENANDOAH, Texas (CentreColonels.com) – Centre junior Logan Oatman (Paducah, Ky.) had a busy week at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships in Texas, competing in three races, culminating with a 17th place finish in the 200-yard backstroke.
  • Hayhurst Finishes Second at NCAA 1m Diving Competition for Second All-America Honor of 2017

    SHENANDOAH, Texas (CentreColonels.com) – Centre junior Sarah Hayhurst (Newburgh, Ind.) had the meet of her life at Friday evening’s 1m diving competition at the 2017 NCAA Division III Championships. Hayhurst scored 445.75 points in the finals to take second place and earn her second All-American recognition of her junior campaign.

(CentreColonels.com) - The Southern Athletic Association released its 2016-17 swimming and diving postseason awards in the wake of this weekend's conference championship meet and Centre was well represented, with junior Sarah Hayhurst (Newburgh, Ind.) winning Women's Diver of the Year, junior Noah Martin (Spartanburg, S.C.) winning Men's Swimmer of the Year and head coach Dean Brownley taking home Men's Coach of the Year honors.

    WILMORE, Ky. (CentreColonels.com) – The Centre swimming and diving teams concluded their 2016-17 regular season in style, traveling to Asbury and pulling off a sweep of the home standing Eagles. The men’s team won by a score of 105-97, while the women’s team came away with a 143-62 victory.

    DANVILLE, Ky. (CentreColonels.com) – Boles Natatorium hosted the final two sessions of the Colonel Classic to kick off 2017 for the Centre swimming and diving teams. After all 38 events had concluded, the Centre women ended up with a first place finish while the men’s team finished second, with each team breaking a pool record in the process.

(CentreColonels.com) – The Centre swim teams returned from a month off from competition and their annual training trip in St. Petersburg, Fla. to the friendly confines of Boles Natatorium to kick off the 2017 portion of their schedule at the Colonel Classic. With ten out of 38 events in the books, the women’s team is in first place while the men’s team is in third.

    INDIANAPOLIS (CentreColonels.com) – The Centre swimming and diving teams completed the first of three days of competition at the House of Champions meet at IUPUI, an event featuring teams representing all divisions. Through 14 events at the House of Champions, the Centre men’s team is in 11th place out of 12 teams, while the women’s team sits in eighth.

    FRANKLIN, Ind. (CentreColonels.com) – The Centre swim teams returned to action on the road, traveling to Franklin to take on the host Grizzlies and the Anderson Ravens. The Colonels came away with a split, as both the men’s and women’s teams lost to Franklin and defeated Anderson.

(CentreColonels.com) – The Centre swimming and diving teams opened up their home schedule by welcoming the rival Transylvania Pioneers to Boles Natatorium for a Friday evening dual meet. The Colonels dominated the Pioneers, winning 147-71 on the women’s side and 153-32 on the men’s side.

    ATLANTA (CentreColonels.com) - After a successful week that saw Centre's swimming and diving teams win a pair of dual meets on the women's side, a pair of Colonels won weekly awards from the Southern Athletic Association. Junior Cameron Beach (Greenville, S.C.) was named CollegeSwimming.com SAA Women's Swimmer of the Week while junior Sarah Hayhurst (Newburgh, Ind.) took home the league's Women's Diver of the Week for meets held through Oct. 16.

    MOUNT BERRY, Ga. (CentreColonels.com) – It was the second meet in less than 24 hours for the Centre swim teams, but the Colonels did not show many signs of fatigue from the split they earned at Sewanee last night as they defeated the Berry Vikings. The men won by a score of 116-111 for their first victory of the year while the women won their second straight head to head meet by a score of 128-115.
  • Colonels Split Dual Swim Meet at Sewanee

    SEWANEE, Tenn. (CentreColonels.com) – The Centre swim teams competed in the first of two back-to-back Southern Athletic Association dual meets on Friday evening when they took on the Sewanee Tigers on the road. The Colonels came away with a split against the Tigers, with the men losing 118-115 and the women avenging a head to head loss last year with a 157-85 victory.
