Martin takes home CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. - The first round of spring postseason academic awards from CoSIDA came out on Thursday afternoon and Centre senior swimmer Noah Martin (Spartanburg, S.C.) earned an at-large Google Cloud Academic All-District® distinction for District II, covering colleges from eight different states.

Martin, who graduates as one of the most decorated swimmers in program history, was recently named the Male Student-Athlete of the Year at the Centre Athletics Award Show, an award voted on by Centre Athletics senior staff. Martin holds school records in both the 100m and 200m butterfly and is a four-time event winner at the Southern Athletic Association Championships.

A history major, Martin has been arguably even more impressive in the classroom than in the pool, as he holds a grade point average of 3.98. Martin was one of 11 male-student athletes selected across seven different sports for Academic All-District recognition in District II.
