Swimming & Diving staff announces latest recruiting class

DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre swimming and diving head coach Dean Brownley recently announced the Colonels' 2018 recruiting class which features a total of 19 additions to the program for the upcoming campaign. 

Eleven women and eight men are slated to join the Colonels this fall.

"There is strength in numbers," Brownley said, regarding his latest class. "This our biggest recruiting class ever and along with that comes a lot of diversity in talent. I am hopeful that all of these freshmen will be able to make an impact for us at some point.

"We are very excited about the talent level of swimmers that are coming in which should help us be competitive for a conference championship."

The Centre men claimed second place at this season's Southern Athletic Association Championships, while the women finished fourth.
