CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced today, with Centre freshman Bailey Plourde (Newcastle, Maine) earning a spot on the prestigious list.

A total of 1,011 women's collegiate golfers were recognized across all divisions. The minimum cumulative GPA required for the honor is 3.50.

Named to the WGCA All-Great Lakes Region, Plourde excelled in her freshman campaign for the Colonels, helping them move up to 17th in the nation in the Golfstat rankings and earning a pair of Southern Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week honors for her performances.

Plourde was also named the SAA Women's Golf Newcomer of the Year as the top freshman finisher at the conference championship tournament, an event that saw her add First Team All-SAA to her list of accolades for 2017-18.
