@CentreWomensLax’s Bellamah Named SAA Offensive Player of the Week

ATLANTA (CentreColonels.com) – Earlier today the Southern Athletic Association released its weekly awards for women's lacrosse and Centre junior Hannah Bellamah (Loveland, Ohio) took home the SAA Offensive Player of the Week honors for games played through Mar. 19.

Bellamah once again had a stellar week for the Colonels in all facets of the game as Centre won a pair of games against Goucher and Kalamazoo. Bellamah scored four goals and dished out three assists in both of the games as the Colonels won 15-5 over Goucher and defeated Kalamazoo by a score of 17-5 this week. She also recorded ten ground balls and seven draw controls during the two games, cementing her status as one of the most complete lacrosse players in the SAA.

In the first of a pair of spring break games in the state of Florida, Bellamah took charge on offense, scoring six goals as Centre defeated Calvin 15-12 earlier today.

This week marks the second time this season that Bellamah has taken home the SAA Offensive Player of the Week award, having also earned the honors after the season's opening week.

The Centre women's lacrosse team will remain in Florida and take on Clarkson on Tuesday at 10:00 AM.
