- The Colonels, who finished in a three-way tie for second place, defeated Birmingham Southern 15-5 in Danville on Feb. 25. Junior midfielder Haden Gibbons (Chattanooga, Tenn.) scored a career high six goals in the win, while junior midfielder Hannah Bellamah (Loveland, Ohio) added five goals and a pair of assists. Senior midfielder Ellen Resinger (Louisville, Ky.) finished with seven ground balls and seven draw controls, equaling the draw control of the entire BSC team in the victory. Junior keeper Natalie Marek (Louisville, Ky.) had one of her strongest performances of the year in goal, stopping 13 of 18 shots.

- The Birmingham Southern Panthers have a 6-9 overall record and a 3-4 mark in conference play as they head into tonight's SAA Tournament rematch with Centre.

- On Feb. 25, Birmingham Southern scored a season low five goals in their loss to Centre. Leading scorer Natalie Daniel, who finished the year with 58 goals, scored just once as Centre prevailed 15-5.

- Centre is 1-0 all-time against the Panthers in the postseason, as the Colonels defeated Birmingham Southern by a score of 19-2 in the 2015 SAA quarterfinals. Centre is 7-1 all-time against the Panthers, including a 5-0 record in Danville.

- Bellamah ranks third in the SAA and 12th in Division III with 78 points on the season in addition to pacing the conference and sitting third in the nation with 69 ground balls on the year.

- Resinger leads the league with 98 draw controls on the season, good for sixth in the country.
