DANVILLE, Ky. (CentreColonels.com) - The Centre men's and women's tennis team play host to a slew of home matches this weekend, highlighted by a pair of matchups against Campbellsville and Covenant on Saturday, March 4 in this week's Centre Athletics Games of the Week.

The Colonels will take on NAIA Campbellsville at 10 a.m. ET before battling USA South foe Covenant at 2 p.m. ET at the Centre College Tennis Courts. Free @CentreAthletics spring sports posters will be given away at the matches Saturday.

The Centre women's netters are 2-3 on the season following last weekend's DePauw Invitational.

On the men's side, the Colonels own a 2-2 record on the season and are coming off a 5-4 triumph over Wooster in the DePauw Invitational last weekend. After falling behind 2-1 after doubles play, Centre won four of six singles tilts en route to the win. Freshman Matthew Ko (Nicholasville, Ky.) sealed the win for the Colonels at the No. 4 singles position for his second singles victory of his debut campaign.

The Campbellsville women have played just one dual match on the season, falling by a score of 7-2 to NCAA Division II Bellarmine. The Campbellsville men, ranked ninth in the NAIA national rankings, sit at 3-0 on the season following an 8-1 win over Bellarmine and a 9-0 victory over Brescia.

The Covenant women enter with a 2-4 ledger on the season having dropped their last four matches to SAA opponents in Birmingham Southern, Millsaps, Rhodes and Hendrix. The Scots men own a 3-4 record on the season and are coming off a 9-0 triumph over Hendrix on Saturday.
