Williams Continues Strong Season in Match vs. Bellarmine

DANVILLE, Ky. (CentreColonels.com) - Junior Aliza Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio) improved to 7-1 in singles play on the season with a win against Bellarmine on Sunday afternoon, but the Centre women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to the visiting Knights. 

Williams topped Jennifer Skonieczny by a score of 6-3, 6-2 in the victory to boost her singles record to 7-1 on the year. In addition, Williams finished 4-2 overall on the weekend with a pair of singles wins and two doubles triumphs. 

The Colonels are back in action on Saturday, March 11 with a road non-conference matchup at Hanover.
