Complete Rankings

MARIETTA, Ga. – Head Coach Currie Martin will have one of the highest-rated recruiting classes in all of Division III coming to campus this fall, as his women's newcomers form the No. 22 ranked group on TennisRecruiting.net.

Highly regarded as the premier amateur tennis ranking service, Tennis Recruiting.net lists Centre ahead of all other Southern Athletic Association programs, including annual powerhouse Sewanee (No. 25).

Four individuals are listed on the site's rankings: Katharine Sherman (Augusta, Ga.), Hannah Doherty (Atlanta, Ga.), Caroline Lancaster (Nicholasville, Ky.) and Grace Headley (Lexington, Ky.)

Sherman headlines the class as a three-star recruit, according to the service, with a RPI ranking of 43 in the nation. Doherty is a two-star with a 282 RPI, while Headley and Lancaster have RPIs of 587 and 682, respectively.

Rounding out the class are Grace English (Louisville, Ky.), Elizabeth Joiner (Danville, Ky.) and Caroline Dishman (Louisville, Ky.).

"I am very excited about this group of young ladies joining Centre women's tennis this fall," Martin said. "This class will make a great impact on our program already full of talented women.

"While we are proud to be recognized on the national stage, we have many more goals in our sights. This is just the beginning, and we cannot wait to earn many more achievements upon the foundation of our recent successes."
