Amend Field

Andrew P. Amend Field, completed in 2017, is the home of the Centre men's and women's soccer programs.

The state-of-the-art facility features a game only 75-yard by 120-yard Bermuda natural grass playing surface, seating for 500, a press box, roof top video stand, as well as a patio with a permanent gas grill. The playing surface is Latitude 36, the frontrunner for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, and is noted for its fine blades so the ball skids smoothly across the grass.

In addition, the Gordon S. Dabney Building, a 7,000-square-foot structure which includes four locker rooms as well as athletic training space, laundry capabilities and public restrooms accompanies the facility.

The Dabney Building houses the men's soccer, women's soccer, field hockey, women's lacrosse and softball team locker rooms.

The field and locker room building were dedicated at Homecoming 2017 on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 21.
