Senior middle hitter Stephanie Woeste (Louisville, Ky.) was selected as a member of the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Second Team, the league announced Friday.
Woeste led the Colonels with 300 kills on the season and a .330 hitting percentage, which ranked fourth in the SCAC. She was second on the team in blocks with 102.
Earlier in the season, Woeste earned conference Offensive Player of the Week honors after hitting .432 with 43 kills over four matches in the Centre Classic.
The selection marks the fourth year Woeste has been selected as an All-SCAC performer and the third time she has been on the second team. No other Colonels were honored this year, though Suzanne Asbury (Louisville, Ky.) received a first place vote for Freshman of the Year.
Southwestern took two of the top awards as Christina Nicholls was named the league's Player of the Year and Hannah Long the Coach of the Year. Trinity's Maggie Emodi was named Freshman of the Year while Maraia Tremarelli of Rhodes took Backrow Player of the Year.
