Playing its third road game of the week, Centre fell behind early in the loss, which dropped the Colonels' overall record to 5-2. Connor Stubbs (Decatur, Ga.) led the Colonels with three goals and three assists in the game while Zack Connors (Louisville, Ky.) and Scott Hughes (Chattanooga, Tenn.) each scored twice. Wesley Hardman (Narragansett, R.I.), Patrick Vaughn (Signal Mountain, Tenn.) and Phillip Malloy (Louisville, Ky.) also added goals for Centre while Peter Murphy (Louisville, Ky.) added two assists and goalie Clayton Brown (Louisville, Ky.) made 14 saves.
The Colonels finish their road trip Sunday at 1 p.m. with an SCAC game at Hendrix in Conway, Ark.
