Box Score The Centre women's lacrosse team posted a new program record for points in a game, cruising to a 23-4 victory over Agnes Scott on Saturday in Birmingham, Ala.
The Colonels scored early and often in the win with 13 players finding the net and eight scoring multiple goals.
Katy Cremer (Hudson, Ohio) and Emily Madden (Louisville, Ky.) each scored three goals to lead Centre while Meg Hawthorne (Cary, N.C.) contributed two goals with four assists and Sarah Mastey (Chattanooga, Tenn.) two goals with two assists.
Also scoring two goals for Centre were Andrea Merchak (Lexington, Ky.), Audrey Powers (Chattanooga, Tenn.), Maddie Baker (Louisville, Ky.) and Mary Rodes (Danville, Ky.).
Allison Eisner (Louisville, Ky.) made four saves in goal for Centre while Lauren Esterle (Louisville, Ky.) had two stops.
With the win, Centre improves to 9-2 on the year. The Colonels will remain in Birmingham to take on Birmingham Southern on Sunday at 2 p.m.
