Centre wrapped up its season with a 6-3 loss to Austin College in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tennis Championships on Saturday in North Little Rock, Ark.

The Colonels fell behind 3-0 after doubles play before bouncing back to split the six singles matches. Austin claimed ninth place in the tournament with the victory while Centre finishes 10th and ends the year with a 3-13 record.

Kathryn Hays (Lexington, Ky.) defeated Austin's Elizabeth Flint 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 1 singles match while Elise Decamp (Lexington, Ky.) won 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 over Austin's Sophie McDonald in No. 2. Centre's other victory came from Maddie Pitt (Louisville, Ky.), who won 6-4, 6-3 over Ashley Hellman in No. 6 singles.
