The Centre men's basketball team picked up an 81-62 road win at Brescia on Thursday in Owensboro, Ky.

Josh Karsner (Frankfort, Ky.) led the way for the Colonels with 20 points while Donovan Whiteside (Knoxville, Tenn.) added 15. Tyler Wesley (Crestwood, Ky.) chipped in 13 points with a game-high eight rebounds.

The game remained close until midway through the second half before the Colonels pulled away for the 19-point victory. Decarlos Collier scored a game-high 23 points to lead Brescia.

For the game, Centre shot 52 percent from the field to Brescia's 38 percent, 48 percent from outside to the Bearcats' 35 percent and made all 13 of its free throws. The Colonels held a 35-31 rebounding advantage but turned the ball over 12 times to Brescia's six.

Centre moves to 5-2 on the season while Brescia drops to 5-4. The Colonels are off until they host Thomas More on Dec. 19.
