The Centre men's tennis team lost its season opener, falling 9-0 at Bellarmine University on Saturday in Louisville, Ky.
The Colonels dropped all three doubles matches, with the closest decision an 8-5 loss by Xan Witherington (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) and Daniel Miller (Evansville, Ind.) in the No. 3 match. Centre also fell in all six singles matches, with Trey Williamson putting up a fight before falling 6-3, 6-4 to Bellarmine's Carlos Antonioli in the No. 3 match.
The Colonels will look for their first victory of the season when they host Indiana-Southeast on Saturday at 9 a.m.
