The Centre women's tennis team fell 8-1 to Bellarmine on Saturday in Louisville, Ky.
For the second time this season, Kathryn Hays (Lexington, Ky.) picked up the team's only victory, defeating Bellarmine's Evann Wschuk 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 in No. 1 singles.
Hays was also part of Centre's most competitive doubles match, teaming up with Lauren Dever (Portsmouth, Ohio) to test Bellarmine's Caitlin Hanley and Michelle McFerran before eventually falling 8-5.
The Colonels (0-2) will host Indiana-Southeast on Saturday at 9 a.m.
