The SAA (Southern Athletic Association) has released the All-Tournament team for both the men's and women's conference championship tournament held last weekend, February 22-24.
The Centre College men's basketball team, who won the inaugural SAA tournament title, were honored with two selections, Junior Donovan Whiteside (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Freshman Blake Scinta (Louisville, KY), to the All Tournment team. In the championship game Scinta led all scorers with 15 points and added a game high 10 rebounds, en route to being named Tournament Most Outstanding Player, while Whiteside scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds.
For the Centre College Women, sophomore Maggie Hartlage (Louisville, Ky.) earned the honor of being selected to the SAA All-Tournament Team. Hartlage led her team with 14 points in their first round overtime loss to Hendrix.
