The Centre men's tennis team fell by the score of 6-3 in a match with Allegheny on Tuesday in Hilton Head, S.C.
The Colonels fell behind after losing all three doubles matches, but bounced back to split the six singles matches.
Picking up victories for Centre were Xan Witherington (Oak Ridge, Tenn.), who won 0-6, 6-0, 10-6 in the No. 2 match, Lucas Kelley (Maryville, Tenn.), who won 2-6, 6-3, 10-4 in the No. 4 match, and Nathan Stein, who claimed a 7-5, 6-0 win in the No. 5 match.
The loss drops Centre's record to 1-3 on the season.
