The Centre women's tennis team fell 6-3 in a match with Southern Athletic Association opponent Birmingham-Southern on Saturday in Birmingham, Ala.
Junior Kathryn Hays (Lexington, Ky.) was a part of two of the three victories for the Colonels, defeating BSC's Moya Moore 6-2, 6-2 in No. 1 singles and teaming up with Elise Decamp (Lexington, Ky.) to defeat Moore and Raeann Lamere 9-7 in No. 1 doubles.
Centre's other victory came from Maddie Pitt (Louisville, Ky.), who posted a 7-5, 6-0 win over Birmingham-Southern's Lindsay Farrell in No. 5 singles.
Centre falls to 4-10 on the season with the loss.
