After being outshot 10-3 in the first half, Centre turned the tables in the second half. The Colonels put pressure on the Knights' defense, taking eight shots to Bellarmine's four and holding a 3-1 advantage in penalty corners. The Colonels had chances until the very end when they had a final penalty corner with no time remaining, but they ultimately came up empty.
Overall, Bellarmine held a 14-11 edge in shots while Centre had a 5-2 advantage in corners. Kirby Roberts (Louisville, Ky.) made seven saves for Centre while Lara Williams had four stops for Bellarmine.
