The Southern Athletic Association released its all-conference teams for volleyball last week after the end of the regular season. Three Centre players were named All-SAA selections.
Junior Beth Cecil (Bardstown, Ky.) was named First Team All-SAA at the outside hitter position after leading Centre with 405 kills in 2014, the third highest total in the conference. Cecil also led the conference in kills per set with an average of 3.75. She also finished the year with 288 digs, the second most among Centre players.
Senior Suzanne Asbury (Louisville, Ky.) finished her Centre volleyball career with a Second Team All-SAA selection.
