The Centre women's tennis team dropped its opening match of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament, falling 7-2 to Berry on Friday in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
The Colonels fell behind 3-0 in doubles play before picking up a pair of singles wins. Winning matches for Centre were Kathryn Hays, who won 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles match, and Courtney Delong (Phoenix, Ariz.), who won in three sets in the No. 4 match.
