The Centre women's tennis team wrapped up its season with a 7-2 victory over Oglethorpe in the consolation round on Saturday in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
The Colonels won two of the three doubles matches, with the teams of Kate Tomey (Indianapolis, Ind.) and Abby Tudor (Richmond, Ind.) as well as Maddie Pitt (Louisville, Ky.) and Casey Blair (Louisville, Ky.) each winning 8-5.
In singles play, the Colonels finished the match by taking four of the six matches. Tomey, Pitt, Courtney Delong (Louisville, Ky.) and Katie Howard (Frankfort, Ky.) all contributed wins toward Centre's overall 7-2 victory.
Centre wraps up the year at 7-11 while Oglethorpe finishes at 6-15.
