Playing its first of two weekend matches, the Centre College field hockey team blanked Ferrum College 3-0 in a neutral site match at Roanoke College Saturday, Sept. 27 in Roanoke, Va.  

The win is the fourth consecutive victory for the Colonels, including the third shutout, as they improve to 6-3, while Ferrum falls to 1-8. 

Sophomore Erin Kiefer (Louisville, Ky.) scored her third and fourth goals of the season, and freshman Hayley Barker (Louisville, Ky.) added her second. 

Centre will return to action Sunday, Sept. 27 against Roanoke. The match is set to begin at 12 p.m. in Roanoke, Va.
