Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (CentreAthletics.com) – After Centre and Birmingham Southern played just over 77 minutes of scoreless soccer in a Southern Athletic Association matchup on Friday night, senior forward Destinie Graves (Lexington, Ky.) netted her conference-leading fifth game-winning goal to help the No. 15 Colonels women's soccer team to a 1-0 road victory over the Panthers.
Centre remains unbeaten in SAA play with the win, boosting its record to 11-1-1 overall on the season and 3-0-1 in the conference. Birmingham Southern fell to 7-6-0 and 2-3-0, respectively.
Graves' goal also marks her league-leading 16th score of the season. She has now scored a goal in six straight contests and the Colonels are 8-0-1 when the Lexington native scores.
Goalkeepers Olivia Alford (Louisville, Ky.) and Holly Hilton (New Palestine, Ind.) combined for Centre's sixth shutout of the season and second in conference action.

The Colonels are now 4-0-0 on the road this season, outscoring opponents 11-1 in those games. Centre plays its next three contests on the road to close the 2015 regular season after playing its previous eight games at home prior to Friday's matchup at Birmingham Southern.
