The SAA released its all-conference teams for the 2014-15 women's basketball season earlier on Saturday and two players from Centre earned recognition, with Maggie Hartlage being named second team All-SAA and Alexis Guy named honorable mention All-SAA.
Maggie Hartlage, a senior guard from Louisville, Ky., finished fifth in the SAA in free throw percentage and led Centre in many statistical categories. Hartlage was second on the team in scoring at 12.2 points per game, connected on 32 three-pointers in her senior year and finished her career just shy of the 1,000-point mark.
Alexis Guy, a junior guard from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, led the Colonels in scoring at 12.6 points per game and finished sixth in the SAA in free throw percentage. Guy also led the Colonels in free throws made and steals during the 2014-15 season and tied for the team lead in assists.
It was the second year in a row that Guy and Hartlage received recognition from the SAA as both players were named honorable mention All-SAA for the 2013-14 season as well.
