The final round of play is complete at the Jekyll Island Men's Collegiate in Jekyll Island, Ga. The Centre men's golf team finished in 24th place out of 30 teams after posting a combined team score of 303 on Sunday.
Individually, three Colonels players posted low scores of the day for the Sunday session. Senior Grant Blevins, sophomore Dakota Jarman and freshman Andrew McKinney, all natives of Danville, Ky., each posted a score of 75 to lead Centre on Sunday, highlighted by an eagle from Dakota Jarman on the 18th hole.
Jarman and McKinney tied for the tournament low score for the Colonels. Sophomore Carson Riley (Hendersonville, Tenn.) and junior Bryan Griffin (Greensboro, N.C.) rounded out the scoring for Centre on Sunday with respective scores of 78 and 81.
The Colonels will get another chance to compete against many of the teams from the fierce Jekyll field at the Emory Invite in Atlanta, Ga. on Apr. 6th-7th.
