The Centre men's tennis team fell 5-0 in a match with Southern Athletic Association opponent Birmingham-Southern on Saturday in Birmingham, Ala.
The Colonels fell behind 3-0 after dropping all three doubles matches. The No. 1 team of Trey Williamson (Nashville, Tenn.) and Woody Rini (Richmond, Ky.) had the best showing, falling 5-3.
In singles play, Centre dropped the two matches that were played to completion. Williamson and Logan Henize (Cincinnati, Ohio) both fell 8-3 in the No. 1 and No. 3 matches respectively.
Centre drops to 3-9 on the year, while Birmingham-Southern improves to 10-2. The Colonels wrap up SAA play with a trip to Millsaps on Sunday.
