ATLANTA - On Friday the Southern Athletic Association announced its all-conference teams for volleyball and Centre had a pair of representatives on the list, with senior Hailey Foote (Prospect, Ky.) earning All-SAA First Team recognition and sophomore Peyton Vacala (Savannah, Ga.) making the All-SAA Honorable Mention squad.
Hailey Foote was the top hitter all season long for the Colonels, pacing the team with 284 kills during her senior season. Foote also finished with 23 aces, good for third on the team, to go along with 275 digs and 33 total blocks, making her Centre's first All-SAA First Team performer since All-American Beth Cecil.
Peyton Vacala finished with 174 kills on the year, good for third on the team. She was also second on the team with 331 digs to go along with 20 aces and 24 total blocks.
The Centre volleyball team will face Hendrix in SAA Tournament quarterfinal action on Friday at Berry. The Colonels and Warriors split their matchups this season, with the home team winning each match in five sets.
