Box Score GREENCASTLE, Ind. – Centre women's tennis suffered a 7-2 defeat at DePauw Saturday afternoon in their spring season opener.
The Colonels (0-1) claimed two singles matches, but the host Tigers (1-3) used momentum from a doubles sweep to secure their first win of the year.
HIGHLIGHTS

Hannah Doherty at No. 1 doubles, 8-7 (7-4).
- Rookie
Katharine Sherman won her first collegiate dual match against DePauw's Colleen Morris at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1.
- Rao followed with a 7-6, 6-4 decision against Emma Love at No. 2 singles.

Centre returns to the courts tomorrow against No. 22 Kenyon. First serve in Gambier, Ohio is scheduled for 2 p.m.
