Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Centre women's tennis faced its fifth nationally-ranked opponent of the young season Wednesday, falling 6-3 at No. 19 Mary Washington.
The loss drops the Colonels to 2-6 overall while the 19th-ranked Eagles improve to 7-2.

Caroline Stallings and
Abigail Kent paired up at No. 2 doubles to defeat Claire Coleman and Danielle Mirabella, 8-7.
- Mary Washington claimed the other two doubles matches in narrow fashion, and singles would prove similarly even.

Neha Rao, the reigning Southern Athletic Association Player of the Week, gutted out a 6-3, 6-7, 10-7 victory at No. 2 over Coleman.

Hannah Doherty also came up with a three-set win at No. 5, defeating Sophie Dixon 7-5, 3-6, 6-3.
