DANVILLE, Ky. – The Colonels swept past the visiting Hendrix Warriors Sunday morning, 9-0, winning their first Southern Athletic Association match of the season in what was also the home opener at the Centre Tennis Courts.
Centre improves to 3-7 overall and 1-1 in the SAA, dropping Hendrix to 0-10 (0-3) as 12 different Colonels contributed to the rout.

Quinn Pritchett gave Centre its second point with an 8-1 win at No. 2 over Andrew Eveld and Nathan Hudson. In their first official action of the season,
Luke Duncan and
Ian Cowan capped the doubles sweep with an 8-4 victory against Dylan Hurst and Sasin Payakachat at No. 3.
- Centre won all six singles bouts in straight sets, beginning with
Adam Slone's 6-1, 6-1 victory against Hudson at No. 2.
Max Middleton followed soon after with a 6-0, 6-1 decision over Lefler at No. 1, marking his third straight-set singles win of the season.

Matthew Bulow handled Parker Work at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-0 for his fifth individual win of the year.
Ben Hadlock blanked Eveld in No. 4, 6-0, 6-0

Owen Alsup claimed his first collegiate dual match win at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-2 against Elijah Ballard.
