Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. – Centre men's tennis battled nationally-ranked Sewanee Saturday evening, falling by a 9-0 score in the Southern Athletic Association opener.
The Colonels fall to 2-5 overall (0-1 SAA) while the host Tigers improved to 8-1 (1-0).
HIGHLIGHTS

Arpit Rana and rookie
Matthew Bulow faced Sewanee's veterans Jack Gray and Jordan Brewer in No. 1 doubles, dropping the match by an 8-3 score.
- A handful of Colonels went toe-to-toe with their opponents in singles play, but the Tigers would eventually sweep all six bouts.
- Bulow fell by a 6-3, 6-2 score against Brandon Kali at No. 4, and Benjamin Hadlock was defeated by Jack Metzger by the same score at No. 5.
- Andres Carro won by a 6-1, 6-2 final against Rana at No. 1 singles.

Centre's Sunday match at Hanover has been cancelled. The Colonels are next in action March 16 against nationally-ranked Christopher Newport.
