CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Women's Golf Coaches Association released its list of postseason award winners for the 2018-19 season and Centre sophomore
Bailey Plourde was named a Second Team All-American and First Team All-Great Lakes Region.
Plourde had a season for the ages during her sophomore campaign. She finished in the top five in all but one of the tournaments she played in 2018-19, including three tournament wins, most notable at the Callaway Gardens tournament to open the spring season.
Plourde was one of six individual at-large invitees to the NCAA Tournament, finishing the regular season ranked 12th in the nation after her second consecutive All-Southern Athletic Association First Team honor.
The Newcastle, Maine native is the first All-American for Centre women's golf since Whitney Miller earned the honor following the 2012-13 season.
Plourde is currently halfway through the NCAA Championships.
