NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. - Centre women's tennis has a historic weekend on tap, as it prepares to host the 12th annual ITA Division III National Women's Team Indoor Championship Presented by Oracle at the Top Seed Tennis Club in Nicholasville, Ky., Feb. 28 through March 1.

Sturgill Turner Law Firm has partnered with the Colonels as the local sponsor, helping put on one of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's main indoor events. The three-day tournament showcases eight of the top women's NCAA Division III teams, crowning an indoor national champion Sunday.

Centre enters as the eight-seed of the tournament, and is joined by seven other programs each ranked in the top 10 nationally: Brandeis, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Carnegie Mellon, University of Chicago, Emory, MIT and Pomona-Pitzer.

The Colonels will meet No. 2 CMS Friday at 1 p.m. All First Round match-ups are listed below:

First Round — Friday, February 28
(2) Emory University vs. (7) Brandeis University — 9:00 AM EST
(4) Carnegie Mellon vs. (5) University of Chicago — 9:00 AM EST
(1) Claremont-Mudd-Scripps vs. (8) Centre College — 1:00 PM EST
