DANVILLE, Ky. – Aly Lilley has been named Centre's first-ever Assistant Athletic Director for Advancement, it was announced today. Centre received an NCAA Division III Strategic Alliance Matching Grant to establish the position.
"I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve as the first Assistant Athletic Director for Advancement at Centre College," Lilley said. "With a nationally recognized reputation for excellence that includes a long-standing tradition of alumni support, Centre aligns with my passionate belief in Division III athletics and my commitment to supporting an exceptional athletics staff that develops the next generation of leaders both in competition and in the classroom.
"I want to thank Director of Athletics,
Brad Fields '98, and the members of the selection committee for entrusting me with this new role and I look forward to becoming a part of the incredible Colonel athletics family."
Fields added: "I am grateful to have someone with Aly's talent and passion joining our team at such a critical time. The transformational impact that our coaches and staff provide for our nearly 600 student-athletes is profound, and through the search process, we identified a person in Aly that also had a significant experience as a successful student-athlete and coach.
"With help from the NCAA to create this position, Aly will shepherd our story to more folks, and I'm excited to see her enhance the impact of Centre Athletics. As her husband, Michael, and her two boys Spencer and Haynes Fisher join her in the community, we welcome our new Centre Athletics family members with open arms."
