DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre men's tennis defeated Birmingham-Southern by a 6-3 score Saturday in Southern Association play.
The Colonels improve to 2-3 overall and 2-1 in the SAA while the Panthers fall to 7-6 and 1-2 in-conference.

Matthew Bulow provided Centre's first point in an 8-3 win against Hunter Hoffmeister and Elijah Ingleson at No. 3 doubles.

Arpit Rana and
Bo Bush then claimed a hard-fought 8-5 victory in No. 1 doubles against Jameson Bekaert and Wilbur Dotson to give Centre a 2-1 advantage.

Danny Nelson claimed No. 5 singles due to a forfeit, and Bulow won No. 6 singles against Hoffmeister, 6-3, 6-2.
- For the second time this season, Whitt provided the match-clinching point, defeating Ingleson at No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-4.

Faraz Ghamgosar also won his No. 3 singles match over Bekaert in a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 three-set contest.
