DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre women's tennis fell by a 9-0 score Saturday at No. 32 Sewanee, competing in non-conference action at the Charlotte Guerry Indoor Courts.
The Colonels slide to 4-3 overall while the Tigers move to 5-2.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Sewanee swept all three doubles matches to take a commanding 3-0 advantage.
Katharine Sherman and
Grace Headley each won four games at No. 2 doubles, as did
Ella Rueff and
Caroline Stallings at No. 3.
- Sherman and Emma Smith battled in a meeting of regionally-ranked individuals at No. 1 singles, but Smith won, 7-5, 6-3.

Hannah Doherty faced regionally-ranked Catherine Owen at No. 3 singles, ultimately falling 6-2, 6-2.
