ATLANTA – Centre women's tennis defeated Oglethorpe by a wide 8-1 margin Sunday, completing a weekend sweep of the Stormy Petrels on the road.
The Colonels improve to 2-0 overall while sending Oglethorpe to 0-2 in a match that was being counted as a non-conference contest.

Lainey Hill topped Alyssa Merletti and Kendall Kramer at No. 1, 8-2.
Caroline Stallings and
Caroline Lancaster won, 8-2, over Lisette Phillips and Sydney Datillo at No. 2.
Grace Headley and
Ella Rueff put together a pristine 8-0 win at No. 3 against Alexis Salgueiro and Brooke Dotson.
- Competing at No. 1 singles, Rueff won in straight sets against Phillips, 6-3, 6-4.
Katharine Sherman likewise cruised past Kramer, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 2 singles.
- Stallings won her No. 3 singles contest against Merletti, 6-2, 6-0, and Lancaster won every game in a 6-0, 6-0 rout over Salgueiro.
- Finally, rookie
Abby Jamison won her first collegiate singles match at No. 6 against Muskaan Bhukhanwala, 7-5, 6-1.
