DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre men's tennis handled Hendrix Friday, winning by an 8-1 score on their home tennis courts.
The Colonels improve to 3-6 overall and 3-1 in the Southern Athletic Association while the Warriors fall to 0-11 and 0-5 in-conference.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Centre dropped just four games during doubles action. Reigning SAA Doubles Team of the Week,
Arpit Rana and
Bo Bush, defeated Eric Meyne and Will Thames 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.
- At No. 2 doubles,
Matthew Bulow and
Danny Nelson dropped Morgan Oglesbee and Connor Brooks, 8-1, and at No. 3
Newcomb Maddux and
Owen Alsup won 8-2 against Joseph Donaldson and Lance Smith.
- The Colonels continued their dominance into singles play, beginning at No. 2 where
Ashton Whitt blanked Oglesbee, 6-0, 6-0.

Faraz Ghamgosar won No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-0 against Brooks, and Rana claimed No. 1, 6-3, 6-4 against Meyne.

Tanner Ray came from behind to win No. 4 singles, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (6), and
Ian Cowan capped the scoring at No. 5 against Smith, 6-0, 6-3.
