MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Centre men's tennis saw its strong 2021 season come to a close Sunday, falling 5-3 to Oglethorpe in the Southern Athletic Association Tournament Championship at the Adams Tennis Complex.
Making their first ever appearance in the SAA title match, the Colonels (8-8) went toe-to-toe with the Stormy Petrels (13-1), but were toppled during singles action.

Arpit Rana and
Bo Bush finished the spring with 10 doubles wins, defeating Ameya Dani and Daniel Cohen, 8-6, on court one.
- Centre got another point in No. 3 doubles, where
Faraz Ghamgosar and
Ashton Whitt dropped Vince Claussen and Zoe Raymond, 8-3. It marked the duo's seventh straight win.
- Rana won his No. 1 singles match against Dani, 6-2, 7-6 (6) to give the Colonels their third point, but the Stormy Petrels took advantage of the other singles matches to rally and claim the SAA trophy.
