EAST LANSING, Mich. – Centre women's golf suffered an inconsistent third round at the NCAA Division III Championships Thursday, taking place at the Forest Akers West Golf Course.
The Colonels shot a 328 as a team, sliding from fourth to sixth in the standings.
Meaghan Grant was the low scorer for Centre Thursday, firing her best round of the event so far. She shot a 79 while carding a pair of birdies on the final six holes.
Margaret Butts followed with an 81, while
Rylee Suttor and
Bailey Plourde were next with matching 84s.
Abby Ligons' 92 capped Centre's scoring.
Suttor remains Centre's highest individual on the leaderboard, sitting in a tie for fifth with 18 holes to go. Grant is next at T-33rd, followed by Plourde in T-46th.
The Colonels hit the course for their final round Friday starting at 8:50 a.m.
