DANVILLE, Ky. – Centre athletics administration has announced the College's Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) policy, in conjunction with the NCAA and Commonwealth of Kentucky, to go into effect immediately.
Centre College supports student-athletes receiving compensation for the use of their name, image, and likeness from sources outside the institution, and the athletic department has developed specific policies to the address NIL activities of student-athletes.
The athletic department and CentreWorks are teaming up to develop what will be known as the "ColoNIL Commitment," a partnership that aims to help educate student-athletes in entrepreneurship in preparation for NIL opportunities.
