DANVILLE, Ky. – The Centre baseball team faced off against the Rhodes Lynx in the rubber match of the first conference series of the season. The Colonels overcame a three-run deficit to walk it off with a 7-6 comeback victory to take the series.

- From there, the offense cooled and the Rhodes bats heated up, scoring six runs over the next five innings to take the lead. In the bottom of the eighth, with Prather on third, pinch hitter
Chase Austin lined the first pitch he saw to the opposite field for an RBI single to narrow the gap to 6-4.
